Quite simply… You have 100 nights to decide to keep your YES! mattress. So, snooze all you like! If you decide the mattress isn’t right for you, just let us know ( We’ll arrange for a pickup. Unlike traditional mattress companies, we won’t waste money on humongous showrooms, commissioned salespeople, inventories, or excessive shipping costs. Instead, we sell our mattress directly, to you, online and pass the savings on. Our approach means your YES! Mattress is manufactured right here in the US and shipped to you fresh from the factory, instead of being wrapped in plastic for, potentially, months on end.

Rather than confuse you with hundreds of choices, we put all our energy into creating one product worthy of being called perfect. The foams and the cover that we’ve chosen for our mattress provide a wonderful night’s sleep for everyone of all shapes, sizes, and preferences.

We totally understand the need to “try before you buy”, however, we are so confident you will be snoozing every night away during your 100-night risk-free trial. This means you get to try out the mattress to determine whether or not it is perfect for you. It will be much easier to tell from your first 7 nights than 15 minutes in a showroom!

The YES! Mattress and cover is handmade in Georgia, USA.

When considering a surface for your YES! Mattress, the best way to go about it is the firmer, the flatter, the better. The type of support underneath your YES! Mattress is just as important as the mattress itself and could ultimately affect the lifespan and performance of your mattress.

The 3 very best options, for a foundation, is a slatted base frame (with slats no more than three inches apart), a firm platform or an adjustable frame. With metal frames, you’ll want to make sure that the base has unyielding wooden slats that are thick enough to support the bed, unless the frame is all metal…slats and all.

Box springs are not necessary with your YES! Mattress — but some people want their bed to be a little higher. Any low profile foundation with slats can be used in place of a box spring.

Your base options for your new YES! Mattress:

  • Modern box spring (the kind without coils)
  • Platform bed
  • Bed frame with slats no more than 3” apart
  • Bunkie board
  • Adjustable bed
  • Floor
  • Smart Base steel frame

You could but you don’t really need one – the mattress sleeps great on a slatted base frame (metal frame with wooden slats) or platform bed.

If your box spring was specifically designed to work with a traditional spring mattress, it probably has springs inside the structure. If that is the case, we suggest investing in a new base.

Yes and the firmer the support-the better. Therefore, a simple metal frame with thin support beams will not hold up very well, but one with unyielding wooden slats will work fine. You could place a piece of plywood on the top of the metal to close up the unsupported surface.

You bet! The founder of the YES! Mattress uses the mattress on an adjustable base. A Murphy bed is also excellent! As long as the base is solid, flat, and compatible with foam mattresses, it will work just fine! When using a Murphy bed, make sure the frame provides 10 inches of clearance to meet the YES! Mattress’s depth.

Sorry, but the YES! Mattress is not designed to be used in a sofa bed. Repeated folding will cause long term damage to the mattress.

Glad you asked. We tested hundreds of materials and thousands of combinations before the YES! Mattress came to fruition (whew!!!). The YES! Mattress is a perfect combination of 6 ½ inches of H36 foam serving as the base, followed by 2 inches of viscos gel foam, 1 ½ inches of a latex blend foam on top of that, and a natural bamboo cover to top it all off.

With the combination of foams along with the cover the total thickness of the YES! mattress is 10 inches.

Our Firmness Scale is simple. It rates mattresses with a number from 1 to 10, with 1 being the firmest and 10 being the softest. Some people may instinctively think that the softer the mattress the better, and therefore a Firmness Scale rating of 10 is the best, but that isn’t quite how it works. Few people actually prefer a Firmness Scale of 10, and few prefer a Firmness Scale rating of 1. Most people prefer a combination of softness and firmness somewhere in-between. The YES! Mattress is the best of both of those firmnesses coming in at a 6.5 on the scale which is what is referred to as the “Goldilocks”.

No, we do not chemically treat our materials, foams or mattresses for any reason. The YES! Mattresses is fully encased in a fire retardant sock. The barrier works by interrupting the combustion process in the event of a fire to meet the requirements of 16 CFR Part 1633. The fire sock functions to smother and dampen flames by causing a layer of char to form, thus preventing oxygen from feeding the fire and subsequently preventing the flames from reaching the foam and spreading.

For spills and stains, spot treat the area with mild detergent and cool water – blotting and dabbing gently rather than scrubbing or applying direct force. Please don’t try to remove the cover.

Nope. Shipping is on us!

A new Connecticut state law, Public Act 13-42, now requires retailers to collect a small fee on every mattress sold. The fee amount ($9.00), which is set by Connecticut (not individual retailers like YES!), supports the state’s recycling programs.

California and Rhode Island have a similar fee tied to a law, like Connecticut, that funds the state’s recycling programs. In California, the fee is $11 and in Rhode Island the fee is $10.
